PERFECT STRANGER She’s on the line She’s t talking to that medicine man of mine She’s on fire She’s talking to the boy who wants to make her buy Now its time When the mirror starts smokin and the lights go out Like a rhyme When the song is broken no-one cares about She could have knocked me blind Dropping me to the floor Tick tacked to another mind Leaving us wanting more She took it down She ended up running to another town She said it all Now dhe’s shouting to the boy who wants to make her fall Now its time When the night starts moving and you want go Like a rhyme With a song iso soothin no-one’s gonna know BRIDGE CHORUS She had the word Never lost story that I always heard Down to earth With no-one really knowing what she might be worth Now its time When the mirror starts smokin and the lights go out Like a rhyme When the song is broken no-one cares about BRIDGE CHORUS X 2

SATELLITE If you’re gonna hold a barrel to my head You gotta get a gun If you want to go and put this to bed You know it’s better run It’s tearing every hour every minute till it falls apart Just remember it’s the memory calling from an empty heart Now the satellite Is shining in my head The sky will never set alight With the words you never said You never said You gonna stand there til I drop You’re gonna wait a while You want to push this to a stop You’ll need an extra mile It’s tearing every hour every minute till it falls apart Just remember it’s the memory calling from an empty heart How did that satellite Take me back instead How could we get it right When the words were never said Were never said (Solo / Middle Eight) You let your troubles unfurl Believe me its not the end of the world Can you carry it thru (Drop down instrumental chorus) DROP DOWN CHORUS CHORUS X 2

SMALL TOWN VALENTINE Let me tell you About a girl I once knew Let me take you To a place we used to go I think I see you Walking down uptown street Couldn’t be you Not the face I used to know That’s another lifetime It’s another show It’s your final timeline But I guess you gotta go Small town valentine Holding on for a better day Left with that little friend of mine As you crash the party and run away Small town falling apart Now there’s nowhere left to hide So much to say about your twisted heart As you crash the party and take a ride

about

We recorded a six-song session at Salford's 6Db studio back in January as a focus to get something done before an enforced hiatus. Three of the tracks have made their way onto here at various points through the year and we felt that we should get the last three out as well to draw a line under them and start afresh in the New Year.
