John sent me this song almost completed, I had been working on Change Your Mind and weirdly, they were both in the same key and with similar chords in the choruses. I said I'd work on changing my mind about Change Your Mind and I'm glad I did as I think it worked for the better. This song was the one I had to work on least as it was so complete already, I did have to wait a while to put a guitar solo on it as I had slit my left index finger. One morning I woke up with the solo already in my head and I knew I could play it on one string and without using the damaged digit. I tried it and it worked but I intended to change it when my finger improved. I ended up leaving it as it was sometimes your first ideas are your best.
