We came up with the basis of this song in April 2021 and although it was never actually shelved, we couldn't come up with something that fitted. Recently after health issues in the band and our political climate going from bad to worse on a daily basis, this self reflective, melancholic song came out of nowhere. A quick chorus change, lose the old ending and it was done. Worth the wait, we think. Hope you like it too...

The Ruby Tears started life as an entirely online collaboration. March 2020, we found ourselves at home and with plenty of time. We decided to write and record an album.
